GDPR Art. 13 · Privacy
Datenschutz.
What happens with your data when you visit this site. Short version: almost nothing. No cookies, no trackers, no ads.
1. Who is responsible
Controller under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for this website:
Bent Eisheuer
Freisinger Landstraße 47a85748 GarchingGermanylegetdev@gmail.com
No data protection officer is appointed; this site is operated by a single person and does not meet the § 38 BDSG threshold that would require one.
2. The short version
This site sets no cookies, uses no consent banners because none are needed, runs no advertising, and embeds no third-party content. Fonts and the homepage video are self-hosted — your browser talks to no font or media CDN. There are no accounts, no forms, and no newsletter. The only processing that happens is the technical minimum described below.
3. Hosting (Vercel)
This site is served by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When you visit, Vercel technically processes connection data — IP address, date and time, requested URL, user agent, referrer — in server logs to deliver the site, maintain security and diagnose faults. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in operating a secure, functioning website). Logs are kept short-term by Vercel and are not merged with other data. A data processing agreement per Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Vercel. Where processing happens in the USA, it is covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 44 ff. GDPR).
4. Web analytics (cookieless)
This site uses Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and Vercel Speed Insights to measure loading performance (Core Web Vitals). Both are cookieless: neither stores nor reads anything on your device, so no consent is required under § 25 TDDDG. Visits and performance metrics are recorded via a short-lived anonymized hash of incoming request data; no persistent identifier exists, no profile is built, and visitors are not tracked across sites. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in understanding aggregate site usage and performance).
5. When you contact me
If you email me or reach out on a linked platform, I process what you send (your address, your message) to reply. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your inquiry relates to entering an engagement, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f). Correspondence is kept only as long as needed to handle the matter, then deleted.
6. External links
This site links to external platforms (GitHub, LinkedIn, Instagram, X) and to my product websites. No data is transmitted to those providers by merely viewing this site; once you follow a link, the respective provider's privacy policy applies.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21). Where processing rests on consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. To exercise any of these rights, one email is enough: legetdev@gmail.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). Competent for this site: Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany, lda.bayern.de.
8. Automated decision-making
No automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR takes place.
9. Changes
If this site gains a new data flow (for example a contact form or embedded content), this policy will be updated first. The current version always lives at this address.
